The cold, the rain and the wind are one of the worst combinations, weather like this is definitely not good for walking along the canal, but I love the challenges, so despite all the weather I went for a short walk. I know that if the wind is blowing outside, then on canal is blowing at least three times the intensity, not a pleasant experience!
I dressed very well and very warmly, I took the camera as well as the umbrella because in some way I had to protect the camera from the rain that was falling with less intensity. The outside temperature was not higher than 3°C.
Reaching the bridge on the canal, I soon realized that I was the only fool on the canal. I kept my umbrella with my left hand while trying to take a picture with my right hand, but it didn't go that easy, so I put the umbrella handle between my upper body and hand to somehow free my left arm and make it easier to operate the camera. Yes, it sounds pretty messed up.
I didn't linger on the canal for a long time, after about ten minutes I returned home because I really had nothing to photograph, and I'm not a big fan of the cold either. I only made a dozen photos and each one looks like the one before, spreading the negative vibe of bad weather!
