5/ ETC is a perfect solution for base layer high value, highly secure, decentralized computation because:
• cryptocurrency, mining and Turing completeness are integrated at the base layer, which, unlike Bitcoin, minimizes risk • has a fixed monetary supply
• is sticking to PoW, not PoS
• is sticking to fully replicated database, not sharding
• has identical trust-minimization and immutability philosophy as Bitcoin
• the base layer will be fully secure computing while high performance computing and innovation will be at L2
