Canada Post? More Like Canada Toast Connection
What is good folks, so the phone rings usually I don’t pick up cause it’s always nonsense but I was bored, eh? Figured I’d see what the flavor of the day is.

Oh And what you see above is not just some regular AI generated image that is locally generated slop just for this post playa! anyway lets get back into it!!

Turns out it’s one of those "This is Canada Post, we intercepted a suspicious package addressed to you" calls. Classic. I mean, I wasn't expectin’ anything illegal, unless ordering too much coffee is a crime now. But here’s the thing the connection was absolute trash. I’m talkin’ underwater, 5000ms latency, crackling like a campfire. I couldn't even let him get into the fearmongering part cause it was painful just listenin’ to the audio dropout.
So I interrupt him, right? I go, "Yo dawg, hold up. You tryna tell me the feds got my package, but you sound like you’re callin’ from inside a washing machine."

He tries to keep going, ignore me, stick to the script about how I need to "verify my identity" immediately. But I wasn't having it. I told him straight up Look man you’re trying to scam me but honestly It sounds like you are the one getting scammed by your internet provider. Who is your ISP? They robbin' you blind for that bandwidth."
The funny part is, his English actually wasn't terrible. Better than most of these sleaze balls. If he actually had a solid connection, he might’ve sounded half convincing as a postal agent. I told him that too. I said, "Bro, your English is passable, but your VOIP setup is amateur hour. How you gonna run a federal package scam on dial-up speeds?"
It’s just hilarious to me. These guys want to play the big bad government agency, act like they seized my "illicit goods," but they can't even configure a stable line. It’s low effort. If you gonna be a grifter, at least invest in the tools of the trade. Don’t come at me with that packet loss and expect me to hand over my SIN number.
Anyway, I hung up eventually cause the lag was annoyin’ me more than the scam attmpt itself. Just another reminder that most people even the crooks are just incompetent.
