Happy weekend to you all in this great community on this beautiful day, it is a nice day and a creative Saturday as I will be sharing with you all my weekend craft made from scrap fabric. I will be sharing with you the cutting and sewing process of this simple pyramid keychain.
We can decide to decorate our keys with different pieces of artwork but as a seamstress the only thing I know how to use is fabric and I have decided to use this pieces of fabric to create different items that can be useful for me and people that care and love my creativity, i tried to create anything that comes to my mind and see if it's possible with fabrics, I'm sure you will like this and try it out, it is simple, easy to make and useful for your keys.
From one of my scrap fabric, i measured and cut out 4 x 8 inches
I measured a red bias tape and cut out 4 inches which was folded and sewn on both sides
On the fabric, I marked 0.5 inches at the tip and placed the folded bias on it
The fabric was folded in two and sewn with my sewing machine on the front and one side, leaving the other side unsewn
The side I left unsewn was opened with the seam line at the middle and it was sewn together leaving a small opening
It was turned to the right side through the opening and I filled it with some fiber to make it fluffy
I used my hand needle and thread to sew the opening with an invisible stitch for a neat finishing
Finally, I fix my key to the handle and this is the final and beautiful outcome. You can see how useful this is, i hope you love it as well.
