Today I went out with my gold club up north. We left early to avoid traffic, and it was a pretty easy drive. The older members showed me around, and then we went to work. The claim was tough to get to, but it did take me 90 minutes to get my stuff down there. I got through 8 buckets, and was getting tired, hot, and sore. So I started to pack up and hike out. Took me 6 trips up a 200 foot hill. I know it was 200 feet, because I had extension cords running down it. I thought I drank enough water, but with the none stop pace of up and down. I got spent. I made the hour drive home, but was getting a headache on the way back. When I got home I took a shower, and laid down. 30min later I had a 103 temperature, and had to start drinking ice water, and putting ice packs in my arm pits. Took about a hour but I feel better, and now just really tired. Drink water, and take some breaks. what-is-dehydration-6-signs-of-dehydration.jpg
