AI is a blessing to the world, honestly. I am not much into AI, but the ones I have used are enough for me to say AI is something we need. It makes things easier for us to do.
I have heard about how it makes coding easy for people who are into it. Things that could take them months to do are now being done in weeks, all thanks to AI. Content creation also becomes easier as it gives creators ideas on how to go about their content. There are many AI apps that help with editing pictures and videos for better viewing.
There are many AI videos out there getting millions of views. People love them and want more of them.
Will you throw your knife away because it cut you? Of course, you will not. The damage has been done, and the knife is still valuable in the kitchen, so what you do is fix your hand.
The same thing applies to the use of AI. AI should not be banned, but fixing how people use it is necessary.
Those who use it to create explicit content of real people are the ones that need to be apprehended and dealt with seriously, so that other people having such a mindset will think twice before venturing down that path.
It is even crazy to think about it. Someone wakes up one day with the terrible idea of creating an explicit video of someone else, which could tarnish their image and even ruin their career. What is their intent for creating such a video? Is it for views or likes? To make money? Or do they just feel bored and decide that the next thing they should do is ruin someone else's career?
This is not a little case at all, and such people should be found and prosecuted accordingly. It is a crime that should have serious charges and severe punishment to deter others from ever having such a mindset.
As we have those terrible people causing havoc and hurting others, we also have good people who use AI to create meaningful content and teach others things in a simple way.
So, AI is never the enemy. It is the bad users that should be stopped. It is the people that are abusing AI and making it do bad things that should face the consequences of their actions...
