Yesterday I called for HD to have a big day after being sluggish, on market up days. And for some reason today when the market was flat Home depot had a monster day. Up over 6 dollars at one point, and I chose to get out. Had a huge profit in it, like 30 percent, and I was into the trade for more than I wanted to be.
If I had positioned myself a little different, with a bit longer options, I would have held. I think we will hit 290 in Hd soon, but if I stick to my plan 2 to 5 % I should have been out long ago. This one worked out, but it could have gone against me.
