I did not go to Tang Soo Do class. Kami is deep up to her neck in school stuff, and I already had a great private lesson the day before. Instead, I wrote one of my best friends who's having a hard time, too, and we watched the Canada game in the restaurant below my flat. Nobody else was there, and the screen is amazing. I broke my rule of not having alcohol within the week and drank a few beer. We had a great time. His problems seem to be getting better, which is a big relief to me. I care a lot, apparently.
But the day started with the market. It was fine, not spectacular, but okay. Weather is nice these days, that's always a bonus and I enjoy meeting people. Sales are down though. I have to find a way to get them up again. I will.
There was some miscommunication regarding the bread, and we had 1kg of white sourdough too much. So I decided to make an experiment. Sourdough chocolate bread. Turned out good enough to write a post about it.
The dough looked quite funny, and I should've let it rise longer, but the outcome was still very good. For a first try? I impressed myself.
Today is my birthday and it's incredibly rough. I tried to call my daughter, but her mom blocks the calls. I send her a voice message, but I doubt her mom let's her listen to it. It's out of my control. It will change eventually.
So far. I wish you all a great day and thank you for reading.
