Burn Posts?

By now some of you know that there is a burn post going everyday. From my understanding it is being used to put sell pressure on the price of SBDs in order to bring it down too a dollar. Okay maybe it is not spy stuff, but should they really be trying to control the price of SBD or should they let market forces do it. I also see that they are using it to put in a bid on steem, but now they are getting so much steem, and have the ability to control a huge stake of the rewards. Who is watching the supposed watcher, they say they will eventually burn the steem, and not use it for their advantage, but come on. Power always seems to corrupt, but I thought we were suppose to not have a central authority, and now we have this group trying to control everything? So kinda Ironic.
