Another wonderful Sunday that The Lord has made, I rejoice and I am glad about it. Last night, I put out an article concerning thanksgiving and it doesn't just happen in one day. So you get it, thanksgiving is, should be and continues to be a continuous thing. How is your Sunday going to start with?
We are still discussing faith and you may be imagining, why burn the bed?. Let's advance into the article to get more revelations of this particular burning. Have you observed that fire doesn't need much introduction, when it starts it's visible. In short, the moment you mistakenly put your hand in fire, it will burn you as correction.
I am just looking at that bible context where Our Lord Jesus talked about light and also compared it with fire. Looking into this scriptures, it is most focused on brightness and illumination.
Matthew 5:14-15 NIV “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. [15]Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
I was listening to a gospel message relating to this and the speaker was pointing out that it is also a dangerous business to try hiding light. Let's take for instance, you decided to light a candle and put it under your bed. What are you expecting? You succeeded in hiding the fire I guess. Just wait for it, it is your neighbors that will soon be at your door step when your bed catches fire and well, it extends to other parts of the apartment.
What is the take up here; you carry fire and whatever is trying to cover you is taking a bigger risk. This is how you are meant to live your life; be very unstoppable. You should not be ignorant that there are those who just love putting off people’s light.
It happened to the Three Hebrew brothers, it happened to Daniel, Joseph and even Our Lord Jesus Christ faced such fate too. When they thought they had finally silenced Him, He rose victorious, triumphing over death, once and for all. .
To conclude, let me add, you are not disadvantaged in any way being a follower of Jesus. When they give you the stage, shine but when they try to hide you, burn it down by shining even brighter.
