I already shared here how my husband exerts all his effort for his garden at home. He started from scratch and now his garden is growing and he has more plants now than before.
He already transferred his eggplants to the pots and to the area next to his tomatoes.
He also transferred his bell pepper to the ground. Since we don't have any available pots to be planted so we just use the available lot near our house.
Since it is summertime here in the Philippines and the weather is really hot my husband decided to put some covers or shade for his plants. He only uses wood and coconut leaves for it. He only uses whatever is available so we don't need to spend money on it.

That's our tomatoes and eggplants in a pot. Oh by the way can you see the man behind the plants? That's my hardworking husband he was cutting firewood this morning when I was taking pictures.

He also made a cover or shade for his tomatoes
As for fertilizer on our plants hubby uses human urine with water, rice hull mix, and rice hay. We wanted to use organic fertilizers for our plants.
This is his newly transferred eggplant and bell peppers.
His eggplants are in a pot next to his tomatoes in the pot too.
see how the tomatoes grow a little bigger after planting them for more than two weeks?

The sword pepper is readt to be harvested. Anyway, hubby already harvested some of them and already try to grow more seedlings.
More seedlings we had, you can see its string beans. I was asking my husband why he didn't plant it directly on the ground. Beans should be planted directly. He just told me he wanted to make sure that it will grow.
We still have more eggplant seedlings available and hubby didn't know where to plant them.
Beans, Okra, and Tomato seedlings.
We also have this guava seedlings given by my mother-in-law yesterday and I planted them into empty plastic bottles available at home.
Since we wanted to plant whatever available at home so I tried to grow my own ginger again since hubby already harvested the ginger that I planted before. I used the old Arinola(Chamber pot) for growing my ginger so I don't have to buy pot anymore.
Anyway, wanna share the only flowers I have at home. I really wanted to have more flowers at home but I am picky in growing flowers, I don't want flowers with high maintenance since I am a working mom and I don't have much time to maintain and take care of them.
I have had four different kinds of red roses before yet two of them died after my hubby placed them in an area where it doesn't have any shade at all the whole day. Luckily I decided to transfer the two of them next to our veranda where it's shady. I am happy that it starts to grow healthier again and the other one has flowers on it. It's been how many months since I transferred them.
I also have this two other plants that I don't know the name of it. I just like it because it doesn't grow taller and it doesn't need so much time to grow them.
Ending thoughts
I am sure having a garden at home will not only save us from buying everything at the market but will also generate income soon. Hubby is happy to watch his plants grow. He is very consistent in checking on them every night if there are any insects and snails on his plants. He is also the one who waters them every day.
