As a Filipino, a rice lover would always love rice with some extra stuff. In our house, we all love fried rice. It might be a simple fried rice or one with other ingredients on it.

Fried rice is a typical breakfast food. So this morning I prepared fried rice for the whole family.

Here are the ingredients I prepared
Rice (leftover rice)
Eggs
Cooked Ham
Beefloaf
Pechay
Potato
garlic
onion

Oh sorry the potatoes are not included in the picture. I forgot about it.

I prepare the leftover rice first so I can estimate how many eggs I will add to it later. Then chop the onion and garlic into small pieces. More onion will give a much better taste to the fried rice. I also cut the potatoes, ham, and beef loaf into small cubes. I cut the pechay leaves into strips. Usually, I added cabbage instead of pechay but we only have pechay so I guess it's okay to add it to my fried rice.

I cook the beaten egg first because I don't want to directly add it to the rice while cooking coz I am peaky in terms of the smell of the egg so I better cook it first and set it aside after.
Then I cook the potatoes and set them aside also.
I just wanted to cook them separately before adding them to the rice because I wanted to be sure that it was all well cooked.

Then I started cooking the ham and beef loaf all together then I added the garlic and onion then I added the rice, potatoes, egg, and the pechay leaves. You won't be wondering why I didn't add the pechay stalk it's because I don't like them.
So after mixing it for 1-2 mins, I added some iodized salt, pepper powder, and flavor seasoning mix (Ginisa Mix) to add taste to it.

And serve it after.

What I like about cooking fried rice is we don't need to find other food or viand especially if we added other ingredients to it.
It saves time to cook right?
