Hubby and I are both working. I worked 6 or 7 days a week. Sunday is supposed to be my day off weekly yet sometimes I have to work on Sundays too especially when my reliever is busy with school matters since she is a college student. Just like last Sunday, she told me that she can't work as she is busy with school matters. So I don't have any choice but to work on Sunday.
While hubby has two days off Saturdays and Sundays. Government employees don't work on weekends. That's only his time to clean our surroundings. Last Saturday he rented a grass cutter so he could easily clean our surroundings. Living in a province means you will have a wide yard.
He wakes up early so he can start cleaning and finish it the whole day. He paid 150 pesos for the rent of the grass cutter and he spent almost 2 liters of gasoline. Since he finished it around noon time he still has time to clean the front yard. The area needs to use the machete to remove the grass. I am so proud of how hardworking my husband is.
Sunday early morning hubby and I wake up early. Hubby needs to finish cleaning the front yard along the road while I was busy sweeping all the cut grass. Since I still had to go to work yesterday I wasn't able to finish sweeping the whole area and it was really hard to sweep when the area was not flat as I started cleaning from the top of our surroundings. Since it is the rainy season the cut grass is wet which makes it heavier to sweep.
Now I can feel the pain in my hands. I used all my force in sweeping yesterday. Still didn't get the chance to finish sweeping today since I was busy this morning preparing for breakfast and doing some laundry before going to work.
That's our kind of weekend, not the usual since I had to work but I am glad that hubby understands. I am happy also because I got 350 additional to my weekly salary.
That's all for today's blog hivers. I hope you all had a great and productive weekend.
