For those who play Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, get ready for some big changes! An update was released about a month ago that came with a new raid and a bunch of other updates. I made a post about it, and it can be found here. I loaded up the game a few days ago; however, and I received quite the surprise.
Unfortunately the image only appeared for a brief moment and was then gone, and I didn't get to screen cap it. What was in the image was a bunch of ships like Star Destroyers, X-Wings, TIE Fighters, ect, and the caption "SHIPS - COMING SOON" It seems their teasing us with what's to come.
So that begs the question to be asked, how are they going to incorporate ships into gameplay? Being a turn based RPG, I'm struggling to think of a way you could incorporate ships into SW:GOH's existing game modes, but I think it would be cool if ships had their own game mode altogether. The energy I have to spend on battles is spread pretty thin as is, so I hope that if using ships costs energy, it has it's own pool to draw from. However they decide to do it, I'm still pretty excited about the potential. The thought of having a ship that I could upgrade and/or fly under certain situations , not too mention the additional gameplay elements that would come with it has me pretty stoked waiting for more information.
