It’s been so long since my last post. I’ve kind of busy doing stuff here and there. I’m in final semester of Green Technology course. Yesterday marked the first day of my internship with one Non-Government Organisation (NGO), Tonibung. I will undergo for this internship for four months plus. So excited to have my internship here.
I expect to improve my skill in terms of managing event and program as well managing meeting between the staff member which in turn will help me in the coming future. Yesterday, I was briefed that the organisation covers all unit of study and remarkable technology which is applied from civil, electrical and electronics, mechanical and computer programming, watershed analysis, research and feasibility study, environmental science, nature protection against illegal action on the environment.
Tomorrow I’m schedule to follow the Tonibung team to one site in Ulu Papar, called Kampung Terian. It’s located on the western tip of Crocker Range Park with an altitude of 1400 ft. Generally from what I read from the internet, this village is still surrounded with thick forest. We’re schedule to go there at 9 AM tomorrow to do some feasibility study at one village named kampung Buayan and then proceed to Kampung Terian where we will be staying for five days.
