The Bagel Boys are supplying Brisbane with the best New York Style Bagels since 5 years. Their Bagels are mixed, rolled, boiled and baked in the traditional way and we´ve visited them today to try if they´re really that good.
Die Bagel Boys beliefern Brisbane mit den besten New York Style Bagels seit 5 Jahren. Ihre Bagels werden auf traditionelle Weise gemischt, gerollt, gekocht und gebacken und wir haben sie heute besucht, um zu testen, ob sie wirklich so gut sind.
There are 4 stores in total in Brisbane, but we were on Adelaide Street in the business district. It's a small shop with just a few bar stools to sit on. So it's more of a take-away than a dine-in.
Insgesamt gibt es 4 Läden in Brisbane, aber wir waren in der Adelaide Street im CBD. Es ist ein kleiner Laden mit nur ein paar Barhockern zum Sitzen. Daher ist es eher ein Take-Away als ein Dine-In.
They have such a huge variety of bagels, which makes it really hard to make a choice. Bagels with Poppy Seeds, Sesame Seeds, wholegrain bagels or sunflower rye...the list goes on. They also have sweet bagels like cinnamon raisin, blueberry or choco chips.
Sie haben eine so große Auswahl an Bagels, dass es wirklich schwierig ist, eine Wahl zu treffen. Bagels mit Mohn, Sesam, Vollkornbagels oder Sonnenblumenroggen ... die Liste geht weiter. Sie haben auch süße Bagels wie Zimt Rosinen, Heidelbeeren oder Choco Chips.
But the best part is, they have a big menu of filled bagels and that´s what we came for. We ordered two different bagels.
- 1 x Pastrami ´n´swiss Bagel filled with pastrami, swiss cheese, rocket, mustard & pickles on a Everything Bagel
and
- 1 x The Feta ´n´Beet Bagel filled with feta, beetroot, cucumber, tomato, red onion and radish with a mint & yoghurt dressing all on top of a Parmesan Bagel.
Wow, that was a real taste explosion. All these fresh ingredients on that fresh baked bagel. Absolutely yummy and definitely worth a visit.
I would go there again but we´ve still some other great places to try in the next days.
Aber das Beste ist, sie haben eine große Auswahl an gefüllten Bagels und dafür sind wir gekommen. Wir bestellten zwei verschiedene Bagels.
- 1 x Pastrami ´n´Swiss Bagel gefüllt mit Pastrami, Schweizer Käse, Rucola, Senf & Gurken auf einem Everything Bagel
und
- 1 x The Feta ´n´Beet Bagel gefüllt mit Feta, Rote Beete, Gurke, Tomate, roter Zwiebel und Radieschen mit Minze-Joghurt-Dressing auf einem Parmesan-Bagel.
Wow, das war eine echte Geschmacksexplosion. All diese frischen Zutaten auf diesem frisch gebackenen Bagel. Absolut lecker und auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.
Ich würde wieder dorthin gehen, aber wir haben noch einige andere großartige Restaurants auf der Liste, die wir in den nächsten Tagen ausprobieren möchten.
