Sometimes all you need is a solid Italian Food. A few days ago we went to Il Pomodoro for dinner. It´s a good italian restaurant with fair prices.

I usually go here to order a Pizza for take-away or to order one of their lunch specials.

Manchmal braucht man eindach ein solides italienisches Essen. Vor ein paar Tagen sind wir zum Abendessen ins Il Pomodoro gegangen. Es ist ein gutes italienisches Restaurant mit fairen Preisen.

Normalerweise gehe ich hierher, um eine Pizza zum Mitnehmen oder eines ihrer Mittagsgerichte zu bestellen.

Inside the restaurant it is very small and narrow and it will be hard to get a table during winter, but during summertime they also have tables outside.

They menu is relatively big with a changing weekly special menu. You´ll find all the italian specialities on it and their pizza is very good.

Im Restaurant ist es sehr klein und eng und es wird schwierig sein, im Winter einen Tisch zu bekommen, aber im Sommer kann man auch an einem der Tische draußen sitzen.

Die Speisekart ist relativ groß mit einem wechselnden wöchentlichen Spezialmenü. Man findet alle italienischen Spezialitäten und die Pizza hier ist sehr gut.

This day we both wanted to have Pasta, so we ordered the following.

1 x Spaghetti Bolognese
because you can´t go wrong with a good Bolognese
1 x Paglia e fieno
Pasta with mushrooms, ham and tomato sauce

You always get a little basket full of small breads baked in a wood stove. They are super yummy!

Both dishes were delicious and the portions were big enough for the price of Euro 7,50€ and Euro 8,90€.

But next time I order Pizza again 😋

An diesem Tag wollten wir beide Pasta haben, also bestellten wir folgendes.

1 x Spaghetti Bolognese
denn mit einer guten Bolognese kann man nichts falsch machen
1 x Paglia e fieno
Pasta mit Champignons, Schinken und Tomatensauce

Man bekommt immer einen Korb mit kleinen Broten, die in einem Holzofen gebacken werden. Die sind wirklich super lecker!

Beide Gerichte waren sehr lecker und die Portionen waren groß genug für den Preis von 7,50 Euro und 8,90 Euro.

Aber beim nächsten Mal bestelle ich wieder Pizza 😋
