Stockholm has a lot of cafes. I have noticed that there has been a explosion of Espresso houses in the city. Espresso house is a chain and they are now in every corner.
But there are many unique ones also. One is Café Kaffekoppen on Stortorget in old town l. It is small and cozy. The house is built in 1648. The decorations around the door is from 1650 and designed by Johan Wendelstam. The inside is in a old style.
The coffee is amazing here. The cakes are even better. We had a mud cake and carrot cake.
You can also have dinner here. In the basement there is more rooms.
Please support these small businesses rather then big chains.
