Everyone has something to write about

I am rather new to Hive. I joined at the end of January 2022 just after I started back with #ListNerds.

I joined Hive because it was part of the #ListNerds process, and I never intended to create content.

My initial idea was to resume affiliate marketing. I had put it aside a few years ago for personal reasons.

When I got the email that @jongolson and @blainjones (Note, no Y and no E) were relaunching #ListNerds and were putting it on the blockchain I was intrigued.

I did not know much about the blockchain and had never heard of Hive but I figured if these two were behind it there must be something different about it.

And of course, there was quite a difference, and I knew this was no ordinary mailer.

I noticed all these Hive people who wrote content regularly were now advertising their posts on the platform. They were even inviting their Hive friends to come and join. People like @thisismylife, who is not an affiliate marketer, started bringing in people left and right and rapidly accelerate to the top Affiliate.

I realized that the path to success was just not building an affiliate business but that I needed to begin creating content.

This was a bit of a problem for me. I have never written a blog post before Hive and I had no idea where to begin. I had not written even an academic paper since college. (over 30 years ago)

I started writing posts about list building as this was my area of focus in my affiliate past.
I already had some materials saved on my computer, so I began developing that into a series of posts on list building.

Eventually, I finished up that area and started writing some posts about my life in healthcare.

I joined Actifit because I liked the "get paid to move" platform and since I am fat, I can really use the increased incentive to move about more.

I have found some interesting things about Hive to post about including things like Hive Power Up Day, buying Hive, and delegating Hive Power.

I have written about things that happen in day to day life like my grandsons' baseball games.

The thing is, we all have stories inside of us and experiences to share with others.

I just read a post by @b0s entitled “I think I am niche-less” and that is what inspired this post.

To @b0s, I guarantee you that many of the things in your life that seem to be routine will be interesting to many of us. You live a world away from many of us on Hive and you have a lot that you can share.

I find that when I am pushing to write a post, I need to step back from it and just forget about it for a while.

You are not niche-less, you just have to let the posts come to the surface.
