When I Had Money back then Everybody Was My Friend, Sometimes life can teach you a lesson you never expected to learn but don't panic Back in 2023, when things were going well for me and I had money in my pocket, I had plenty of friends around me. Everywhere I went, there was always somebody calling me, they were checking on me or wanting to hang out with me I was also the kind of person who liked helping people when I could. If a friend needed something and I had the money, I would try my best to help.
At that time, I didn't really think too much about it. I believed these people genuinely cared about me. I thought I had good friends and good people who would still be with me and support me whether I had money or not, But life has a way of showing you the truth about people.
Things changed when my business got scammed and Everything I had been working for suddenly started falling apart, and I found myself back to square one, It wasn't easy at all Losing the business was already painful, but what hurt me even more was seeing how some of the people around me started disappearing. The same people I used to help were suddenly nowhere to be found. Some stopped calling. Some stopped replying to my messages. Some people I thought were very close to me started acting like they didn't even know me. At first, I kept wondering what I had done wrong.
I would sometimes sit down and think about those days when everybody wanted to be around me. I remember how we used to laugh together, go out together and enjoy ourselves but now I would look at my life now and wonder how everything changed so quickly.Even some family members don't seem to care about me the way they used to.That part really hurts because you expect family to be there when things are not going well. But sometimes, you discover that not everybody who is close to you is close because of you. With time, I started realizing something that was difficult for me to accept.
Maybe some of the people I thought were there because they loved and cared about me were actually around because of my mother and the connection or benefits that came with it.It was painful to realize, but I had to accept what life was showing me.Now, I don't have the kind of money I had back then. I don't have plenty people around me anymore, and sometimes the loneliness can really hit hard.
There are some days when I just sit by myself and think about how different things used to be, But despite everything that happen I don't want to give up.I believe this is just a difficult chapter of my life, not the whole story. I may be back at square one financially, but I still have my life, my dreams and the opportunity to start again. These days, I pray to God for recovery. I pray for wisdom, strength and another opportunity to build myself again.
I don't just want the money back but I want to rebuild my life properly and surround myself with people who genuinely care about me and love me for who I am This experience has taught me that having many people around you doesn't always mean you have many friends. Sometimes, it is better to have just a few genuine people than to have multitude of friends that disappears when things become difficult.
I don't know exactly when things will change, but I believe I will recover One day, I will look back at this period and say, "I went through it, but I didn't give up."For now, I'm taking things one day at a time, praying, learning from my mistakes and trying to rebuild myself again.I may have lost money, friends and some relationships along the way, but I haven't lost hope. And as long as I still have hope, I believe I can start again.
