Hello there, black-and-white photography lovers!

Even when my birthday was last Thursday, I couldn't forget to show some of the things I got as presents. One of these things is truly something special and one of the best gifts I received during that day.

We have the traditional sweets. My parents always give me sweets of any kind during my birthday. It is something as old as I can remember. It is a nice way to remember that I'm their son. Some kind of tether to the happier days of childhood. And this time they came is a really cute bag.

Outside home, I received the HBD presents from the Organization Group. This is an initiative that will last until this year, but it's nice to be in receiving end. I got 18/19 1 HBD presents from the community. So, that's nice. Besides that, I got some other sweets from a Professor and a friend who were taking the poetry workshop with me. After the workshop, my girlfriend, @octocel, had conspired with the members of the literary group to give me a surprise. It was some snacks we had during the class and then a bottle of rum to spend some quality time after the class. We spent some time talking and I spent some time sitting next to her.

I also got a self-made book by artist @antolinamartell. This is a book written and illustrated by herself. It was also self-bound, so it is a piece of art in structure and content. I also got her autograph as an added touch.

The best gift of the day was one made by @octocel. She made me a little notebook for haikus. I love it. It will be a nice place to keep recording all the haiku I write and the notebook even has some pieces of wood added to the covers to make it a hard cover. It also has a some little note saying some really cute things that I'll safe for myself.

It was a nice day! I'll be posting about the cake an other things I had during that Thursday. Thanks to all those who spent some time to send me their good wishes.
