Hello there, blockchain foodies!

Birthday posts are coming until today. I wanted to show the other goodies I had for that day. To start the celebration, we had Chinese food for lunch. This is more as an homage thing. My grandpa loved this type of food. And I have taken food as a way to comune with lovely memories. My birthday isn't just about me. It was the celebration of my grandparents' wedding anniversary. So it is a truly special date.

Now, for the sweet part, I had something in mind. Since @generp has become the go-to option for sweets in the house, I couldn't miss the chance to have her make me some cake for this special day. I gotta say I took some time to decide what I wanted. There were many options. All of them looked delicious. In the end, I settled for a brownie. Mom also wanted some lemon pie, which we already know to be amazing. And I added some savory treats to the mix. It turns out her mom makes some of the best savory treat one can have during celebration. Having both sweet and salty food entrepreneurships is a win-win.

So, asked for a box of 50 treats including some tequeños and pastelitos. The former were amazing. But I without a doubt the latter were the cherry on top. The chicken and beef filling was cooked so good I had to message @generp to her her mom is a great cook!

And so, the night of last Thursday we sang Happy Birthday and had some amazing food to eat. And to be honest, that's my favorite part of a birthday. If there's great food, everything is settled. One can be happy with just a few bites. I guess my friend has be become the new go-to option for birthdays as well.

And I couldn't be happier about it!
