The chubby guys had so much energy, we had to keep moving." One morning while they were still jogging the men and boys of the team passed through a small open field to reach the river below, with the river about 300 feet below. All the while the men and boys continued their jogging, and as far as the eye could see, the river was swimming at a steady pace.
After crossing the river, the men and boys of the team arrived back at the base, and after stopping in front of what is known as the old house where the men lived, the men and boys entered an open field to rest, drink beer and eat breakfast and dinner. The men and boys had come back from the field to discover that they had completely abandoned the road and were running on foot on the grass between the two houses. The men and boys had no food, only beer and some dried bread.
The men and boys of the team spent two hours gathering wood and logs for the fire, the camp fires, and preparing for the next day's march. The night before they prepared the meal, the men and boys made a vow to their God to walk the same path as their wives and daughters.
