¿Cómo hice este dibujo?
No sabía ni cómo empezar recuerdo que use mi recurso más utilizado que es pinterest para buscar ideas y Vi una caricatura con brazos largos y cuerpo cuadrado y me encantó demasiado así que pensé en usar ese estilo para dibujar a mi papá, me costó un poquito pero se logró.
¿Por qué realice esta pintura?
La verdad es que realmente no pensaba en participar en ese concurso pero quería hacer algo que comúnmente no suelo hacer que era hacer caricaturas o si las hago pero muy simples, así que lo tomé como reto si ganaba fabuloso pero realmente no lo hacía para ganar sino para retarme a mi misma.
¿En qué me inspire en hacer está pintura?
Habia visto un concurso de animación por el día del padre, en qué consistía en realizar una caricatura o ilustración sobre nuestro papá. Yo no soy muy buena para hacer caricaturas (o eso es lo que creo yo ya que personas cercanas a mi creen lo contrario).

Welcome to this post, where I’ll talk about how I created this illustration, what I focused on, its significance, and a few other things. I’m so glad you’re here reading about my experiences with this drawing—I hope you enjoy it.
How did I make this drawing?
I didn't even know where to start. I remember using my go-to resource—Pinterest—to look for ideas, and I saw a cartoon with long arms and a square body that I absolutely loved, so I decided to use that style to draw my dad. It took me a little while, but I managed to pull it off.
Why did I create this drawing?
The truth is, I wasn’t really planning on entering that contest, but I wanted to do something I don’t usually do—which is drawing caricatures. Or rather, I do draw them, but they’re very simple. So I took it as a challenge: if I won, that would be great, but I wasn’t really doing it to win—I was doing it to challenge myself.
What inspired me to create this painting?
I’d seen an animation contest for Father’s Day, where the challenge was to create a cartoon or illustration of our dad. I’m not very good at drawing cartoons (or at least that’s what I think—though people close to me believe the opposite).
