I happen to be someone who likes traveling a lot and this have always been part of me especially when traveling by road. Traveling is my hobby because I do enjoy experiencing a lot of things while on the road and also an opportunity to see new places.
During the month of december, people do travel a lot because it is a festive season and also an opportunity to meet family and friends since it is a holiday season. I always try to prepare myself in traveling during December time and this is because where I work, we are always given two weeks holiday to celebrate Christmas and new year, so it was an opportunity for me to spend time with my loved ones.
I had the plan to travel to the Eastern part of Nigeria one certain time and my aim of traveling was to spend the holiday with my grandparents since it was long I saw them. I try as much as possible to get them a lot of things so that they can really feel my presence when I come and also make them more happier.
The day i was set to travel was on the 20th of December, so I took a morning bus in other to get to my destination in the evening. I boarded a luxurious bus and we were set to move around 6:30am which was quite ok to begin the journey.
I had a special bag I used in packing all the stuff I got for my grandparents and in my mind I believe I should be the only using that bag lol. When I finally got to my destination in the east I then took a cab going to my grandparents place it was then I noticed the person who sat beside was also using the same bag with me.
At first, I was surprised to see a lady who was using the same kind of bag that I was holding but I wasn't still bothered until the cab I entered got spoilt on the way. We had to wait until when it will be fixed and the day was already dark with no other cab passing by.
At a point we had to push the car whether it will start but it didn't, it was then I saw another cab passing and I was more opportuned because he was actually going my way so I entered without even checking the bag.
When I finally got to my grandparents place they were so happy to see me and I was happy to see them as well since it's been long we set eyes on each other. I didn't bother to check the bag or give them what I bought, I just needed to wait till the next morning before I give them because I needed to relax.
The next morning when I checked the bag, I was so shocked with what I saw because I never expect to see such. I saw that the bag was filled with undies and bra with different sizes and colour. I was so confused how this happened and it was then I remembered the lady that we both enter the same cab that night.
I was so carried away that night to check the bag because I was excited to see another cab to enter so it skipped my mind to check. I was confused to tell my grandparents what happened the next morning so I decided not to but to find another means to get them something else.
