Introverts generally don't like to mix with people. People often mistake this as snobbish behavior. No, we're not arrogant. It's just that we don't like to deliberately look to meet people for small talk. We are generally shy and don't see the need to socialise. We like to do things our way and be contended with ourselves.
Some of us even avoid people whenever they can to prevent needless human interaction. If you speak to us, we'd gladly listen as we find it more interesting compared to we talking about ourselves. We prefer to keep things to ourselves, unlike extroverts who find joy in sharing what they have in mind.
Personally, I find it difficult to adjust to society as introverts find it hard to mingle around with people you don't know. But I'm trying.
