Sigh... what I've learnt from last week's Butter post is that STEEM appears to be full of extremist wrong side cracker butter-rers who believe in all manner of conspiracy theories like cracker sandwiches.... I will take comfort in the fact that all of these people who butter their crackers wrongly are just a vocal minority, and that the silent majority actually just agree with me.
So, on to a less controversial topic this week (well, there was no controversy... everyone else was mostly wrong...).... my toddler is currently scared of everything... and I really mean everything. Some are normal fears, like the dark or of a cannon being ignited and blasting about 10 metres away from her (it's not a daily occurrence and there is a reason for that...)... others, are a little bit strange... like her current fear of pizzas (don't ask, no idea...) and ants!
Combined with a post from @simplymike that I recently read... I have stumbled upon the question that I want to ask this week!

Sunflowers... I have a weird aversion to these "sunny" plants. I'm not really sure why... they have thick hairy stalks, multiple "eyes", they have fields which move together to follow the Sun. All of these things are really a recipe for a horror movie of some sort. Now, I'm not going to run screaming out of a room if I see one, but I do feel a little bit uneasy... we did have two of them in our garden a year or two back.. and over summer they grew like crazy... which made them even more menacing when their were roughly the same size as me.
I can imagine that being dropped into a field of fully grown sunflowers would be one of my ultimate nightmares... the sort where the police find your half eaten corpse surrounded by a field of nonchalant sunflowers... and no one would ever suspect the intelligent and malevolent powers that are lurking within the sunflowers.

One of the first communities that I came in contact with at the beginning of my time at Steemit was @steembasicincome. As a author starting out on your fresh new Steemit account, Steemit can be a daunting and lonely place to be. OFten, it can feel like you are posting into an abyss with no one listening and with no ability to grow out of the situation. A share of Steem Basic Income gives you a guaranteed vote on one post a day, thus giving you a small but over time cumulative support to your account to help grow you out of your initial wilderness!
With this post, I want to help sponsor people who might not even have the spare 1 STEEM that is required for registration. So, when this post pays out, I will sponsor people depending on the payout of this post. Basically, I will round up the SBD payout from this post and then that will be the number of people I will sponsor. (So, if the payout is 2.3 SBD, I will sponsor 3 people). OF course, this is not simply an altruistic move, as the sponsor of a Steem Basic Income share also gets a share, so it is a great way to help others whilst helping yourself!

The last post paid out 0 SBD and 2.912 STEEM in liquid earnings. So, that would make 3 shares.
