Finally cheat day today! After walking and being active for many days I said I will eat what I want today. So I went to Ramen Kuroda because I am craving for something hot and heavy.
I ordered their Bari Kara Ramen, the spicy one. The soup is orange and oily because of chili oil, and it smells so good when they served it. It has thin noodles, one big slice of chashu pork, soft boiled egg with runny yolk inside, green onions and sesame seeds. I mixed everything. First sip of soup, so spicy but so delicious. It wakes you up. The noodles are chewy and good with the spicy soup.
I also ordered extra chashu on the side. There are three slices and they are thick. So tender, the meat and fat melts in your mouth. It is so juicy and flavorful. I eat it with white rice, really good combo. You can put it inside the ramen.
Then I also have katsudon. This is one of my favorites always. The pork cutlet is golden brown and very crispy outside but soft inside. It is sliced into five pieces and placed on top of rice with egg and sweet onions. The rice absorbs the sauce, so tasty and very comforting.
I ate everything slowly. I enjoyed every bite and did not rush. I am so full now, happy and satisfied. Sometimes we need this kind of reward, no diet, no counting. Just enjoy food. Tomorrow I will walk again and burn it, but today is for eating. That is it for my cheat day lunch.
