The family was planning on having a staycation in a nearby hotel but we felt we needed more than that. It's been awhile since we had our vacation because of this pandemic. Even without the pandemic it was hard to plan any kind of vacation because everybody is busy with their jobs, business and personal lives. It came to a point where we really miss the outdoors, we miss the time off from all the pressures of work and life. Everyone needs a quick fix, we are all burnt out of this daily cycle of grinding.
Finally, we were able to come up with a spontaneous plan to just go out as a family and go where our wanderlust take us. Of course, we want it to be clean and Covid-free, surrounded by nature and of course, picture perfect for the FB and the gram.
We settled in somewhere so far but worth it. Here we have everything we want from white sand beaches, pool and amenities and a really nice hotel with all the great food we can think of. Everyone is happy and excited. It's pricey but worth the buck. After all, we waited for this for so long, we don't really bother much about that. This is a much needed break. We are all unwinding. We are all unplugging from the busy and noisy metro life and we are here in the islands with the sun, sea and sand! I will be taking a dip in the warm sea water this evening, I am so excited. I am chilling right this afternoon in anticipation of my night swimming at the beach later. Ugh! This is life right here!
