Hello, hello creative friends and crafters of this beautiful community, I hope you are well and that the new month comes loaded with great blessings; this time I share my creative project that consists of a set of top and panty set with strawberry motif that I sewed for my niece; I was going through my fabric bag and I found a small piece of fabric with a beautiful print ideal for her, after placing the molds several times on the fabric, finally I could cut the pieces, only the strawberries were down, but the important thing was that I could get all the necessary pieces and without wasting time I got down to work.
Hola, hola amigos creativos y artesanos de esta hermosa comunidad, deseo se encuentren bien y que el nuevo mes venga cargado de grandes bendiciones; en esta ocasión comparto mi proyecto creativo que consiste en un conjunto de top y panty juvenil con motivo de fresas que cosí para mi sobrina; revisando mi bolsa de telas encontré un pequeño retazo de tela con un estampado hermoso ideal para ella, luego de colocar los moldes varias veces en la tela, finalmente pude cortar las piezas, solo que las fresas quedaron hacia abajo, pero lo importante fue que pude sacar todas las piezas necesariasy sin perder tiempo me puse manos a la obra.

I marked and cut the top and panty pieces.

Marqué y corté las piezas del top y la panty.

To assemble the front part I faced the red and the printed piece on the right side, pinned and sewed with a straight stitch, then I faced the back part and joined the sides.

Para armar la parte delantera enfrenté por el derecho la pieza de color rojo y la estampada,sujeté con alfileres y cosí con puntada recta, luego enfrenté la parte trasera y uní por los costados.
The next step was to glue the elastic bias, to do this I faced it right side with the fabric, sewed with a zigzag stitch all around, then I turned the bias inside out and sewed again leaving the blackouts facing out.
El siguiente paso fue pegar el sesgo elástico, pára ello lo enfrenté por el derecho con la tela, cosí con puntada de zigzag por todo el contorno, luego volteé el sesgo por el revés y cosí nuevamente dejando las moritas hacia afuera.
Once the bias was attached, I sewed the straps (20 centimeters) from the upper front tips to the back, this is how the top is finished.
Pegado el sesgo cosí los tirantes (20 centímetros) desde las puntas delanteras superiores hasta la parte trasera, así está terminado el top.
Panty
To assemble it, I faced one of the center pieces with the front side and the other front side with the wrong side, pinned and sewed with a straight stitch, this way the seams are hidden.

Para ensamblarla, enfrenté por el derecho una de las las piezas centrales con la parte delantera y la otra delantero con revés, sujeté con alfileres y cosí con puntada recta, de esta forma las costuras quedan ocultas.
Then I faced the back part with the center and passed the bottom piece through the top forming a kind of tube, pinned, sewed and took the garment out through one of the holes, thus achieving a better finish.
Luego enfrenté la parte trasera con el centro y pasé la pieza inferior por la parte de arriba formando una especie de tubo, sujeté con alfileres, cosí y saqué la prenda por uno de los orificios, logrando así un mejor acabado.
Joined the back and front part, with the panty open I glued the bias starting at one of the ends using a zigzag stitch and in the same way that I sewed it on the top, stretching one (1) centimeter of elastic every four (4) centimeters .
Unidas la parte trasetra y delantera, con la panty abierta pegué el sesgo iniciando en uno de los extremos usando puntada de zigzag y de la misma forma que lo cosí en el top, estirando un (1) centímetro de elástico cada cuatro (4) centímetros.
Gluing the elastic on both legs, I closed one of the sides, sewed the bias at the waist, finally I closed the remaining side and with these simple steps the panty is finished.
Pegado el elástico en ambas piernas cerré uno de los laterales, cosí el sesgo en la cintura, finalmente cerré el lateral restante y con estos sencillos pasos está terminada la panty.
I am satisfied with the result of this project and I think my niece will be very happy to receive her gift. She will like the color and pattern of the fabric, although I had difficulty gluing the bias to the back of the top, due to its thinness. the piece, sewing very slowly I was able to achieve it, I hope you like it and useful.
Me siento satisfecha con el resultado de este proyecto y creo que mi sobrina estará muy feliz al recibir su obsequio, el color y el estampado de la tela legustarán, aunque tuve dificultad para pegar el sesgo en la parte trasera del top, por lo delgado de la pieza, cosiendo muy lento pude lograrlo, espero sea de su agrado y útil.
