*It exercises motor skills and pincer grasping skills when cutting the pieces to assemble the strawberry.

*It follows the instructions throughout the construction process.
*This activity can be done by hand stitching, and it's important that children be supervised by an adult, as needles and scissors are used.
*It allows them to explore and express their creativity by combining the colors of their choice.

Elaboration
I started by joining the fabric scraps, then cut the pieces: two 50 x 40 cm rectangles for the front and back, two 16 x 16 cm squares for the fruit, two 9 x 50 cm rectangles for the handles, and two 18 x 8 cm rectangles that will serve as the tunnel for the cord.

Inici茅 uniendo los retazos de tela, luego cort茅 las piezas; dos rect谩ngulos de 50 x 40 cent铆metros, para la parte delantera y posterior, dos cuadrados de 16 x 16 cent铆metros, para ensamblar la fruta, dos rect谩ngulos de 9 x 50 cent铆metros, para las asas y dos rect谩ngulos de 18 x 8 cent铆metros que servir谩n de tunel para el cord贸n.
To make the handles, I sewed the 9 x 50 cm rectangles, right sides together, turned and serged the edges to reinforce.
Para hacer las asas, cos铆 los rect谩ngulos de 9 x 50 cent铆metros, enfrentando los derechos, volte茅 y repis茅 los bordes para reforzar.
Next, I folded the squares in half and formed four triangles (two for each bag). I also sewed a hem on the ends of the rectangles that will form the tunnel, folded them in half, and joined them to the triangles using a straight stitch.
Seguidamente dobl茅 los cuadrados por la mitad y form茅 cuatro tri谩ngulos (dos para cada bolsa), adem谩s cos铆 un dobladillo en los extremos de los rect谩ngulos que formar谩n el tunel, los dobl茅 por la mitad y los un铆 a los tri谩ngulos usando puntada recta.
The next step was to glue the triangles together, these will shape the strawberry. I held and sewed the triangles to one of the corners of the rectangles that will form the bag, placing them so that they match when the pieces face each other and thus assemble the fruit.
El siguiente paso fue pegar los tri谩ngulos, estos dar谩n forma a la fresa, sujet茅 y cos铆 los tri谩ngulos en una de las esquinas de los rect谩ngulos que formar谩n la bolsa, coloc谩ndolos de tal forma que coincidan al enfrentar las piezas y as铆 ensamblar la fruta.
Once the triangles were glued together, I placed the front and back pieces right sides together, pinned them together, sewed the sides and bottom, and turned them over.
Pegados los tri谩ngulos, enfrent茅 por el derecho las piezas delantera y trasera, sujet茅 con alfileres, cos铆 por los lados, la parte de abajo y volte茅.
The next step was to sew the handles to the bag, leaving a 10-centimeter margin from the sides to the center, then I sewed a 2-centimeter hem inward at the top, this will not only reinforce but also serve to cover the ends of the handles, I sewed with a straight stitch.
El siguiente paso fue coser las asas a la bolsa, dejando un margen de 10 cent铆metros desde los lados hacia el centro, luego cos铆 un dobladillo de 2 cent铆metros hacia adentro en la parte superior, este adem谩s de reforzar servira para cubrir los extremos de las asas, cos铆 con puntada recta.
The last step was to cut two strips of cord, each 50 centimeters long. Using a pin, I threaded them through the top tunnel of the triangle. I knotted the ends and burned them with a lighter for a better finish and to secure the knot. These simple steps complete the strawberry-shaped bags.
El 煤ltimo paso fue cortar dos tiras de cord贸n de 50 cent铆metros cada una, con un alfiler lo pas茅 por el tunel superior del tri谩ngulo, hice un nudo en las puntas y quem茅 con el yesquero, para un mejor acabado y seguridad del nudo, as铆 con estos sencillos est谩n terminadas las bolsas con forma de fresa.
