Borobudur in Yogyakarta, is the largest buddhist temple in the world.
It is the size of the pyramids in Egypt but completely decorated with bas-relief.
The temple complex opens relatively early but not enough to see the sunrise from it, unless you sleep in the temple's hotel in which case you have a couple of hours of private access to the huge temple complex and you can see the sunrise in peace and quiet.
