So around 3 pm today, Perdida gave up the ghost. I feel so bad she had to go like that but alas, life happened.
She had been in a really bad way since the day before yesterday and while I tried my best to save her, I couldn't stop the cold hands of death.
At least she had a name
She didn't live the long life I fantasized about but for the short time she was around, she made me happy.
I named her Perdida because she was lost when I saw in that ditch. Feeling her cold dead body was scarily surreal.
Seeing her spill her gut like that when she died and knowing she'll never be able to jump around and be the happy kitten she wants to be was a very emotional moment for me.
