Splinterlands - Amazing Gladiator draws with Legendaries revealing themselves

The brawl finished in the Splinterlands and with it my Guild has learned quite a bit of rewards. Getting more than 6,000 Merits I went right away and bought three Gladius Case packs. And without any hesitation I went to open them. I didn't have much expectation out of just three packs, but I was excited to see what Gladiator cards I would get that I could level up and strengthen my armies. As I have some Archons that enable the use of Gladiator cards in Ranked battles, it is quite important for me to gather as many as I can and level them up for better stats. And as I've started to open the packs one after another, the Gladiator cards became better and better and the final was amazing.

On the first draw I only got an Epic Gladiator as Edith Emberstar. Nothing too crazy, but the epic card was welcomed to my team. The second draw continue with a Rare Gladiator as Liza Fox and closed with an Epic Gladiator as Marisol Contuma. The final draw is what changed everything from good to amazing as I succeeded to get two Legendary Gladiators: Xulax Nightwind and Fina Voxum. These were truly surprising as they were the last cards. And beside that I've got also another Rare Gladiator as Palidon Rakk. In the end the three packs truly delivered and proved myself once again why is important to be part of a Guild and participate to Brawls.

I am part of the Team Possible Power for many years and I would say the Guild is well balanced and powerful. While I have taken a break from playing Splinterlands, the Guild continue to battle in Brawls and grow. Coming back felt quite good and with proving myself once again on the battlefield, I believe that I am helping the Guild rise up. And with it I am growing as well. How? Well, there are quite a bit of perks and rewards that I am getting out of that. Let's explore those.

Benefits of being part of a Guild

Being part of a Splinterlands Guild and actively participating in Brawls offers several benefits beyond simply having a guild tag.

• Earn Brawl rewards. Guild members can earn staked SPS and Merits through Brawls.
• Earn Merits. Merits are a guild specific token that can be spent on Gladius Cases, giving you access to Gladiator cards. This is where I strike the two Gladiator Legendary cards which will help me in battles.
• Expand your deck with Gladiator cards. Gladiators have the Bloodlust ability and can be used in Brawls and with the appropriate Archons, they can also be used in certain Ranked battles. I try to maximize their use.
• Access guild buildings and perks. Higher-level buildings can improve rewards, unlock additional Frays, provide Brawl advantages (like blocking powerful Gladiators), increase Merits and offer other benefits.
• Team strategy and community. Guilds add a cooperative element: members coordinate Frays, discuss strategies and work together toward improving the guild's overall performance through optimum slot assignation.

Why do I participate in Brawls?

The biggest advantage is that Brawls create an additional reward stream alongside Ranked play in the form of both SPS and Merits. On top of that I earn also Guild tokens which bring overall perks for all members. Here is a distinction of these assets.

• Merits → you, used in the Guild Store mostly for buying Gladiator packs.
• SPS → participating members, based on the Brawl reward system.
• Crowns → the guild, which can use them to upgrade buildings and improve its capabilities.

So, in simple terms here is the formula for being part of a Guild and participating in Brawls: Guild → Brawls → SPS + Merits → Gladiator cards → stronger Brawl/Ranked rewards → Guild upgrades → better rewards. And after drawing two Legendary Gladiators, it brings me more motivation to battle with my fellow warriors in the Splinterlands Arenas and participate into Brawls as often as I can. And considering that as a result of this I am strengthening also my ranked gameplay, I would be a fool not to do it. So bring it all, brawls, ranked gameplay, foundation or survivor mode, I will take it all! 😆
