One of my best Twitter accounts is Splinterlands. It keeps me informed about all the important news in the ecosystem and #Hive posting events like a weekly challenge. In my opinion, those challenges are an incredible way of increasing the pride of being part of this community, as every player shares his/her game experience with others, allowing others to learn about everyone's successes and mistakes. This time I will leave apart my beloved battle tactical reviews for a more introspective post. Considering that we are in a bear market, I will try to offer the bright side of life and discuss some great opportunities that we've got in the Splinterlands world. Hope you enjoy it!
Points every Splinter can do in the bear market
Ok, we are in the bear market. That is a fact. Prices are incredibly much lower than were before. And take before whatever period you consider (2 months, half a year, a year). The other one is that
none of us will ever become a whale. If you want to become a whale do your research and discover a project that is in its beginning as Splinterlands was once before. This project is too big nowadays to become a whale.
But on the other hand, you are on a safe board. You are in a project that wants to be the entry to the crypto world of lots of people. There are lots of new crypto arrivers that will enter this world by buying a Splinterlands spellbook. The devs are taking hard decisions to build a solid economy and searching for alliances. Every day that you decide to stay on the board and doing small but wise investments, is a step to generating reliable income when the Bull market comes. But there is only one question that you have to answer:
Do you enjoy playing Splinterlands?
My answer is complete yes. I do love Splinterlands. It's fast. It's simple to understand and very hard to master. The creatures, summoners, and cards that belong to your deck are like your own players of a team. It's competitive but at the same time built into a generous community. It's a dream of the 90's players of Magic the Gathering come true in the crypto world version. And I can not imagine a better blockchain than a hive to hold this game. Hive is made for Splinterlands and Splinterlands needs a blockchain like Hive. They are meant to be.
If the answer to this question is yes, keep reading. If it's not, try to take all the money you can from the game and find something else.

Mastering Splinterlands & Hive ecosystem
Entering Splinterlands world opens an enormous variety of services and tools that either ease everyday duties or allow you to generate additional income. If I had to choose my main tools to master I would choose 4 related to Hive blockchain and the fifth that has become my favorite app: Discord.

Offers an enormous variety of functions that support every player in take his best decisions. 3rd party services like Splinterrents or bots like Splintermate can help you to take profit from your cards either renting or not playing. I made an interesting interview with 
Peakd: content creation is another part that I am loving so much about the Hive ecosystem. It is allowing me to improve my English (as you can see it's not my mother language) while earning some extra funds for Splinterlands!
But the bonus track is the key in my opinion. Entering this crypto world has allowed me to know people from all over the world. Fantastic people with fantastic projects that share the same passion. If I had to choose only one, would be

Splinterlands is rewarding each of us every day for playing the game with fantastic assets as the picture that follows:
Related modern reward cards printed nowadays, are around 15 times cheaper than previous Untamed rewards. This difference is not reflected in how good the card is. Untamed cards are more expensive because there are fewer in circulation.
As you can see, both creatures are great, and in my opinion, I prefer Djinn Renova. We've been complaining that cards were too expensive in Untamed times, and now that we've got great cards at a great price we complain!
Another great move from Splinterlands is awarding Chaos Legion Packs in chest rewards. That's an enormous present from the company rewarding loyalty to the project. I will share with you a couple of this pack openings:
