Well, the bread does get covered tightly - and that stack is only around the corner, then I drop off half of the load at our point of sale here in Cotacachi. The other half I take with me to Ibarra. besides

Among many others, yes. It was mostly indigenous from the communities up there. Many fire fighters, too, but mainly civilians. Quite the experience.

Sounds like a very enjoyable vacation! It's been a while since I've been to the beach. It's only a 5h drive, but still - the Intag valley with it's rivers and similar climate is only 90min away, so...

I helped out on farms many times, including a cow farm. Still love the smell of silage. Cows are awesome animals.

That's sounds pretty intense. I felt similar when I came down from the mountain last week. 2h climbing up, 5h hacking and beating the fire, then 2h climbing down. The refreshments offered by the indigenous
