Easy morning! Woke up late, but made it in time to the market. Ellie can't have coffee, so not to rub it into her face I got some on the way to the market while she was still sleeping. I got us breakfast - potato with water cress, obviously - and then went straight to work. Getting things done.
It was my sister in law's birthday party - spontaneously, as she goes to Brazil for a couple of weeks. Her actual birthday is in 10 days. We spent a good hour there, before going back to the house. Tried to watch a movie, but it wasn't that good, so we indulged in distracting us. And then the power went out.
Which wasn't that bad. I brought Ellie home before everything was dark, and then sat on the roof watching the stars and playing with the pro mode of my camera.
I tried a lot of angles and settings, and got some nice pictures me thinks.
The darkness really helps in being able to capture stars.
I didn't get everything done, I admit. And it's going to be a rough week. I'll have to buckle up and work hard.
