( EN / DE ) Last week I was in the evening in the center of Graz, the so-called "Alt Stadt". The original city center, built around our Schloßberg. Schloßberg means Castle Hill. But its a Hill without a Castle. Okay, this will be a topic for another post I see!
Vorige Woche war ich abends in der Grazer Innenstadt, der sogenannten "Alt Stadt". Der ursprüngliche Stadtkern, rund um unseren Schloßberg entstanden. Der Schloßberg ist ein kleiner Berg ohne Schloß. Warum, okay, ich sehe das wird vielleicht einmal ein Thema für einen eigenen Post werden.
The buildings and squares have a very special charm all the year round, but at Christmas with those nice lights the buildings shine even more.
Die Gebäude und Plätze haben das ganze Jahr über einen sehr besonderen Charme, aber zu Weihnachten mit den Beleuchtungen erstrahlen die Gebäude noch mehr.
Each square has its own lighting style. On the main square, in front of the illuminated town hall is the huge Christmas tree. And all shine with the happy eyes of the visitors around the bet!
But just see for yourself:
Jeder Platz hat seinen eigenen Beleuchtungs Stil. Am Hauptplatz, vor dem beleuchteten Rathaus steht der riesige Christbaum. Und alle strahlen mit den glücklichen Augen der Besucher um die Wette!
Aber seht einfach selbst:
On the way back then the view over the Mur (our river) to the illuminated Schloßberg with clock tower and Mur Island.
Am Rückweg dann der Blick über die Mur (unser Fluß) auf den beleuchteten Schloßberg mit Uhrturm und Murinsel.
And finally I was able to snap the Christmas streetcar! Unfortunately a bit blurry, but still.
Und schließlich konnte ich auch noch die Weihnachts Straßenbahn knipsen! Leider etwas verschwommen, aber immerhin.
