Pinky Swear!
Long Run Sunday started off great. We agreed to run 8 and stick together the whole way. Sealed the deal with a pinky swear.馃挄
We ended up with almost 8.5 miles today. It was an all around good run. We planned in advance for this one and took our train 馃殜passes. When the run distance was finished we walked to the train and rode it back home. It鈥檚 super convenient living practically right next to the station.
We were so thirsty but happy to be finished running for the day! Now to find some water 馃挦
Any longer if a distance and I鈥檒l need to plan the run around the many water fountains we have in Atlanta.
On the way to the train station I stopped to take a picture of one of my favorite sculptures. Atlanta is chocked full of art! I should do one post devoted to all the awesome art we have...from street art to museum art...it鈥檚 phenomenal. This lovely creation is located just outside of the Woodruff Arts Center.
Ok, back to the running!
I鈥檝e said before that I participate in the You vs The Year challenge through MapMyRun. This challenge asks you to complete 1017 (get it...2017...1017) kilometers in the calendar year. I鈥檓 getting there! Three months to go and I have less than 200km to go! That鈥檚 less than 125 miles! I鈥檓 gonna get it!
