Hello beautiful hivians, hope you all are doing great and having a great weekend?
Genetics has made us to understand that everything a man does is being transferred via the gametes and DNA to his offspring. This is the reason why I feel that man must be mindful of whatever attribute or trait he portrays over a long period of time. Because it will get transferred and then become an innate trait in the offsprings.

The three valuable traits that I wished everyone in the world possessed and act out are;
kindness
kindness is essential because it combines empathy and compassion together. A definition I came across sums it up this way
kindness is being selfless, compassionate, caring and friendly to others
For one to be kind one has to have compassion for others. kindnesss to me is simply the ability to put others before yourself and go out of your way to care for people. Fun fact is that it does not require much effort. It could simply be a smile, a greeting to someone, a pat on the back or even a hug. It can also extend to sharing your meal with someone, giving someone a ride home or to work or even assisting to carry someone's grocery bag .
Whichever it is that you choose to do for someone without expecting any favours in return....that is kindnesss.
I recall an incident I happened to come across that broke my heart. I was traveling to Benin City from Lagos and while on this journey, I noticed an accident had occurred along the expressway. Being the curious type, I requested the driver to slow down and lets find out what happened. The story we got was that a motorcyclist and a bus had a collision. The bus was damaged but the motorcyclist and the passenger he carried were severely injured and bleeding profusely. What broke my heart was the fact that rather than seek a solution for the injured, 90% of the passengers brought out their phones and were taking pics and video recording. No one had called the emergency line. I had to scream at them before one passenger decided to call for medical help. Due to time and to beat traffic, I had to continue on my journey, but from the amount of blood I saw spilled on the ground... I doubt those injured would have survived. That scenario took me days to get over it as I kept asking myself...why are people so cruel. Is human life worth the likes and views they would get for posting such on their social media handles? The world will be a better place if we were all kind.
Non-judgementality
Humans will always have an opinion about everything and anything. You do good, it will attract unsolicited opinions and if you do something bad or should I say, if you made a mistake, watch out there's more unsolicited opinions coming.
I wish that everyone will refrain from giving an opinion especially about things that they do not know the whole story. It won't harm us to ask so as to get the full picture of an event and it would not kill us if we do not give an opinion. Remember that when you point a finger at someone, four fingers are pointing back to you. Afterall no one on earth is perfect.
Love
This is the most valuable trait of all that I wish everyone in the world had. I learnt that we had up to eight types of love according to Greek philosophers. Agape (unconditional love) and philia (friendship love) are the tyoes that stood out to me.
To put it in simple and clear terms, I'm referring to having love for your neighbor because he or she is human. The fact is that irrespective of race, skin colour, creed, language and all that which diversifies us, we are all the same. We all have the same anatomical and structural make up, same biological composition of cells and tissues and we all bleed red.
I imagine a world where everyone would be treated warmly, kindly and fairly where there's no prejudice and we can all flow in one accord. In this world that I imagine, nothing would be impossible, no crime because everyone has got each other's backs.
This is what I wish for that everyone had
