You look your boss in the face and say “I don’t need you anymore”
or
You tell your lover never to call you again, then, change your phone number

Don’t cut the string just yet.
Never take it out without thinking it out!!.
You should only do that when:
Your integrity is at stake
or
You are double sure of not using the string again among other reasons
Don’t get me wrong!
There is always a cord to severe
But:
Remember to cut the right one!
