I didn't mean to, but on the weekend I bought some shoes. It just happened, a total mistake, and I'm not at all to blame.
They were on sale at 33% off, that was my excuse, so I saved $100 off the full price. It was a good story until my guy pointed out that I didn't save $100 at all, I in fact had spent spent $200. He's just no fun sometimes. He shook his head at that point but later I tried them on with a few outfits and he wasn't shaking his head any longer, he was nodding and saying, damn you look good! He didn't say that exactly, but words to that effect.
The shoes I bought were in a lovely pastel neutral color, and will compliment blue jeans, and casual skirts and dresses and I have a very lovely navy pin-striped business suit they will turn into something special; it was the business suit I'd tried them on with and showed my boy and I'm pleased to say his eyes popped out a little bit. Ok, it might have been because he caught me in between dresses, with the heels on and not much more...I might have done that on purpose.
Anyway, because I love looking at black and white photos, and because I wanted to try something different here, I thought I'd see what these shots looked like without color; I think they came out pretty well but that might be simply because I love these shoes. All shoes.
