Looks like the Heringsalad we have here - minus the hering. I quite like that stuff, and its affordable.
Its a funny thing with Beetroot in Germany. You can get it in every Supermarket, but most people are not big fans of it. Well, its a vegetable... People rather eat salad. Or a Hamburger.
That being said - do you know that Beetroot slices are a typical ingrediant for Australian Hamburgers? They all eat that downunder.
