It finally arrived! I placed my order 8 days ago and today the postie came with my wires.

In terms of shipping.. Eh.. I think processing took longer than the actual shipping time but they sent a couple of lollies with my order and they are here so I'm happy enough.

It's been a crappy rainy week out here and with the relos coming over this weekend I've mainly been cleaning so I haven't had the time or motivation or energy to be creative. I'm hoping tomorrow's the day though.

What did I get??!!

I got a few different brands, colours and gauges to try out ~ all tarnish resistant.

Got copper in 20, 22 and 26 gauge from Beadalon. The copper I was using before was 18 gauge. Those who don't know, the lower the gauge number the thicker the wire ~ so I've gone down a couple of gauges from my usual. I'm hoping it'll be easier to work with.

Got 18 and 32 gauge brass coloured wire from Artistic Wire. It's got a nice goldish sheen to it.

And I got a 26 gauge roll in silver from Beadsmith. This is to go with all my silver earring hooks so it looks uniform and not two tone.

Since I'm new at this and don't really know which guage, colour or brand is good I'm hoping I can figure it all out with this lot 馃

Gotta say though, that brass is looking sexy 馃憣馃憣

Hope you guys are having a good Thursday!
