Well... Things didn't go according to plan today.
I had all my materials set aside and ready for sewing but I didn't even get close to them.
Instead I got to enjoy little Bella.
I'm constantly amazed at how strong and full of energy she is. Even after a 5 minute micro nap she's bursting with energy as if she had her usual 3 hours.
She's so active and constantly on the go that I look forward to nap time more than she does and often nap longer than her. 🤦🏻♀️
I know it's probably futile and I know I should probably just let it go... BUT.. I've been trying to teach her a cool new game called Clean Ups....
Clean Ups is meant to be a team building activity but I'm pretty sure I'm the only one playing.
She loves to play Anti Clean Ups though.
Sometimes she'll pull herself up and have a look in the toys bucket and pick a toy out. Most of the time she'll pull the bucket down and rummage through it. And every now and then she'll take everything out of the bucket and crawl in there.
Despite all this craziness, Hubby and I discussed maybe having another baby today. (Craaazyy, I know.)
I think it's because she's so awesome that we're even talking about it. I think perhaps if I was a couple of years younger we definitely would be seriously considering it.
But, as things stand, I'm just totally grateful to have Bella. I know I complain but I really love being her Mum. She's an amazing little baby. So happy, so smart and so affectionate.
I'd definitely trade in sewing cot bumpers for cuddles any day.
