Today was the second day of our new normal.

No schedules, no OCD cleaning throughout the day ~ basically, we're now winging it.

It's a big change for me (and maybe for her too) not having a routine. I used to think routines would help get her into a pattern and for a while it did. But I noticed as she grew older she would stay up longer and the routine would be out of whack.

Of course this also means I don't get my usual "breaks" anymore. No more "Just hang in there and it's nap time soon." breaks for my back and sanity.

Or the little breaks I get to tidy up and do the washing... Unless I want to wear her.

Despite the new changes, the messy house and lack of sleep I think we had a good day.

There was only one nap worth counting which lasted only an hour and I wish I wasn't trying to do the grocery shopping then because by the time I dozed off she woke up.

Thank god for the cot.

I think I got a 5 minute micro nap in before she started complaining.

Today's lesson?
(Ok, reminder of a previous lesson...)
Nap when the baby naps!

I used to do this but since I started blogging again Ive been using up precious time writing so I need to sort out a new system.

With that said, I'm off to bed!

Good night Hivers 馃悵馃悵
