Gotta love the half yearly sales.

Two months ago I decided to compare baby clothes brands and sizes to see which brands were, to me, worth buying. After some thought and deliberation I decided I liked Carters and Bonds best, not only for the quality and the cute designs but also for the generous sizing.

Generous as in, Bella still fits in her size 00s Carters and Bonds with a nice amount of give left. Considering they fit up to 6 months and she's now 8 months old I reckon that's pretty good value!

So when I got an email notifying me of Carter's up to 60% off Winter sale I had to check it out.. and... well....

👇😅😅😅

Ok to my defense.. 60% OFF!!!

12 to 18 months

18 to 24 months

24 months +

Plus I have most of next year's clothes already sorted.

What I mainly wanted was the fleece suits since I found them to be the best for her ~ keeps her warm with less layers which let's her be more mobile. Being up in the mountains our weather up here is a bit erratic. We can have cold days in Summer and warm days in Winter. This year, I feel like it got chilly very quickly and Carters didn't bring out the fleece outfits early enough.

I live in my fleece pajama pants pretty much all year round, I figured Bella could use some as well. I also wanted to have some on hand for her instead of scouring the internet for them next year.

Feeling a tad bit guilty for going nuts. I broke it down (so I could justify my spending to my conscience) and calculated that each item cost $6.60. Not bad considering I got some really nice fleece suits with rubber feet and Bonds suits (just the standard cotton onee) are about $15 each and that's with 40% off.

Another thing I like about Carters is they always send the coat hangers (with the size tags!) with the order.

This is the smile of a little girl who LOVES clothes.

Bella's pretty happy.

For a little baby she sure loves clothes.

We've got everything still out hanging on the dining chairs because she loves looking at them. She actually gives a little shriek of excitement when we walk over to look at them up close lol

That on it's own makes the haul worth it.

Today's lesson?

Plan ahead and take advantage of sales.

And letting the baby sit there looking at clothes can buy you 5 minutes of hands free sanity.
