Well I finally did it, I bought my first promo pack!
This is something I should have done back in 2018 so it's long overdue. In fact I still, and probably will forever, regret not stockpiling alpha cards when I had the chance.
After sending the DEC to 
The potions (both of them) for 500 charges totalled around 41,000 DEC which is pretty much a quarter of another 100 promo pack. The burning question was, did I want to spend that 41k on potions or put that towards another 100 packs?
Hubby and I discussed it tonight, we factored in

Woweeee! Look at all them potions and those packs! I pretty much have two potions for every card. 💪
To be sure I keep the potions for the packs I went to settings and clicked "Do not use potions for Reward cards."
I actually sat there for a bit with Hubby and marvelled at the amount of cards and potions Bella had before starting another discussion about how should we approach the great unopening. Do we do it one pack at a time and one card at a time? He's more a keep the suspense going kind of guy and was all for one pack one at a time. I'm more let's open them all and reveal all so I can start playing with them type 🤪
We compromised and went with 8 packs to start with and using reveal all cos it was getting late.. (All the talking takes up valuable time you know..) We did another 8 which didn't come up on the screen due to transaction error (BOOOO!!!) so we had to check out

Not really sure if the potions worked but I'm pretty happy with what we got.
I'm excited to see what will come out in the next 100. I'll see if Bella and I can hold out and wait for Hubby to come home tomorrow before we open the packs.
Learning from tonight's lesson, I think we'll open in lots of 5 just in case we encounter another error.
