Fitness style
If I'm honest, this post was going to be about my lack of understanding of (and love for) the Hive platform. But I think I will save that for another day as these shots of Lauren sort of overtook the original idea.
Let's go Urbex
More than pretty much any model I've worked with, Lauren really has a NFG attitude. She is so down to earth, no bullshit, what you see is what you get kind of person, she is hard to dislike. She started her "modelling journey" (how I hate that term "journey" - it seems everyone is on a journey these days, hey ho), anyway she started modelling when a fellow urbexer convinced her to get in front of a camera. She did, and hated it, but in typical Lauren fashion, stuck with it.
A black and white conversion
She is now getting regular modelling work, alongside appearing in a number of small local films (links to her IMDB account amongst other things can be found at the end of this piece). She Vlogs (and is a full time mum).
"Just gimme a strong pose"
I enjoy working with her, just because there is no artifice about her. And, boy, does she work hard. This shots were taken during a shoot on the hottest day ever recorded in the UK, I was wilting, but Lauren was "I have another idea" and "one more outfit change" The only reason the shoot stopped is because we could find access to a stream that we wanted to shoot in (and to cool off in). As it was near the car I managed to steer her in that direction. And a few hours driving home.
