Ah, it's Monday again, the weekend flew by so fast. Coming back to the start of the week always brings that quiet, reflective moment before everything gets busy again.
That exact feeling inspired me to finish a digital artwork I’ve been working on. In this piece, I decided to revisit using circular cropping techniques to create a glitch effect across the image, similar to some of my previous art explorations, The Moon.
For this project, I wanted to dive into themes of space isolation, the noise of one's inner thoughts, and signals slowly fading into the void.
The main visual centers around an astronaut drifting alone in space, where technology serves as their sole means of survival and, at the same time, their prison.
This time, I experimented with scattering pixel-formatted yellow text across various points along the radar orbits and visor area. These snippets represent chaotic, fractured thoughts echoed in the quiet emptiness of space.
"Trapped in the orbit of my own thoughts... searching for a connection that isn't there."
Thank you for stopping by and taking a look at my work! See you on the next post!
